Description

The Upper Tutaenui Cemetery is on Jeffersons Line, near Marton. A Presbyterian Church was built in 1873 and used to sit next to the Cemetery. This church was mainly built through the efforts of the Rev. William Stewart who is buried in this Cemetery along with his wife and most of his children. This cemetery is under the care of St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Marton.
